This is the moment a little girl amazed her family by producing a giant, dolphin-shaped bubble during an evening barbecue.
Shelby Dewey, ten, was larking about with a bubble 'wand' in her great-aunt Julie's back garden when one began to take on a very odd shape... which then kept growing and growing.
As her amazed family looked on the bubble 'dolphin' shimmered for a few seconds in the evening sunlight before going, 'pop!' and disappearing forever.
Fortunately someone had the presence of mind to snap off a picture, preserving the soapy creature for posterity
Shelby said: 'It looked just like a dolphin. That is what I thought straight away because I have seen them on the TV.'
'I don't think I'll ever be able to make another one like that. All my friends at school think it is fantastic.'
Shelby's sister Lauren, 13, and brother Jordan, 16, have so far been unable to rival her bubble wand magic.
Her mother Lisa, 36, of Alfreton, Derbyshire, said: 'There were some very long bubbles coming out and we were taking photographs.
'The bubble maker is like a sword that you waft in the air. When we saw the pictures on Julie's camera we just couldn't believe it.'
